Facts:	Portland Headlight was completed and first lit in 1791. Its height is 101 feet. It's called "The most photographed Lighthouse in the USA" and is visited by almost one million people every year.
My two cents:	Very nice all year long but bring a warm hat when you visit the Portland Headlight in fall or winter since the wind can be very cold. If you love picnics, it's the perfect spot for a scenic picnic. There are many picnic tables close to the Lighthouse with breathtaking views. You can also play frisbee or bring a kyte. Portland Headlight (Fort Wiliams Park) is the perfect place for a family fun day!
