Facts:	The Pine Tree State Arboretum is privately maintained and has over 300 varieties of trees and other plants. It's open 7 days a week and the admission is free.
My two cents:	The Arboretum has self-guided nature trails and it's a great place for birdwatching, picnics, biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. You can watch animals like deer, birds or chipmunks. It's a beautiful place all year long in the middle of Augusta.
