Mile Beach, Sagadahoc County, Maine

Location: Griffith's Head Road (Reid State Park)
Georgetown, Maine

Parking for Mile Beach:
Facts: The Mile Beach of Reid State Park is located between the rocks of Griffith's Head and Todd's Point.
My two cents: The first time we visited Mile Beach at Reid State Park, we went for a long hike through Reid State Park and walked along the Mile Beach afterwards. If you're not planning on swimming there, visit the beach in spring or fall to avoid crowds. Freshwater showers are located next to the parking lot. When you use the picnick tables next to the beach, watch out for poison ivy.
